Head of Product

Sal D’Angelo is head of product for Vanguard Americas, where he is responsible for product strategy and management, along with advice activities in Canada and Latin America.

Sal joined Vanguard in 2018 and was previously responsible for Vanguard’s product activities in Latin America, including launching Vanguard’s first Mexico domiciled ETF (VMEX) and Vanguard’s first MXN-hedged ETF. Prior to Vanguard, he held progressively senior positions in Scotiabank’s International Wealth and Asset Management division focused on the Americas region.

Sal earned a Bachelor of International Business degree from Sprott School of Business at Carleton University and an M.B.A. from Schulich School of Business at York University. He is also a CFA® charterholder and holds the CFP® designation.
